Basketball is just the start of what we do; London Cruisers is where friendships and connections thrive. Led by a passionate team of LGBT+ women and nonbinary individuals, our non-profit club is run entirely by volunteers dedicated to creating a space that goes beyond basketball.
Our mission is simple: to boost participation in team sports within the LGBT community and provide an inclusive, affordable, and fun experience for everyone.
While basketball is at the heart of our activities, the club offers so much more. From social events like bowling, dancing, karaoke, and camping trips to post-training meetups at local restaurants and pubs, we’ve created a vibrant, welcoming environment that extends far beyond the court. Our annual tournament is a highlight, capped off with an epic party featuring our own DJ in a private club space.
We’re passionate about bringing LGBT+ people together and collaborating with other organizations. By joining events like Pride in London and Out For Sport, we strengthen bonds within our wider community. After friendly games and competitions, we often socialize with other teams, building meaningful connections.
With over 50 members and counting, our club is a dynamic, inclusive group that’s all about diversity, camaraderie, and fun. From the court to the dance floor, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
